On "The Singles Collection" Kim's biggest hits of the year 1981 are united until 1993. Thanks to the chronological arrangement can well understand how Kim changed her style over the years and has still posted consistently great music. Find cool ("Kids in America", "View From A Bridge") and synth-oriented numbers ("Child Come Away", "Never Trust A Stranger") alternate with more rock songs ("Love Is Holy", "Chequered Love ") from. And of course, can not miss the beautiful ballad "Four Letter Word". However, I would have the bonus tracks "In My Life" and "If I Can not Have You" (which can not hold a candle to the older hits) omitted and instead still "Time" and "A Million Miles Away" on the Collection taken. But all good songs by Kim anyway not fit on a single CD, and for people who do not yet have Kim Wilde board in the closet, this compilation is a really good start. And for the fans it is nice and comfortable to have the hits on one CD. A successful review, and hopefully there by Kim soon something new!
