I changed a few years ago from the bridge cameras to DSLR. To my initial endowment belonged beside the 18-105er Kitobjektiv what was actually a very good choice, also a 55-300er Nikon (well). Another aspect is the beneficial aperture that is my camera at 7.9. Tamron makes that even at full aperture tack-sharp pictures - even if I fade two stages, I am far more than the beneficial Aperture. The "missing" 100mm to my 55-300er bother me at all - the image quality is so good that can be image content very good crop. Meanwhile, I had the Tamron at a wedding and a motor sport event in action. The pictures that I have taken are crisp and brilliant. The weight of 1.5 kg makes search definitely noticeable - I recommend to replace the standard neck strap through a strap, the one puts on the shoulder (eg Sunsniper or Carry Speed)
