I have not yet tested the integrated software "secret area" that can hide some files or lock disk access with a password. I do not necessarily have in the utility, but it is good to know that in case of need, it is integrated in the drive.
I rather regret the fact that it is so limited in its connectivity: USB 2 only when many other disks also offer the e-SATA.
An on / off switch would also have been very significant. I do not like having to disconnect every night. So I got to endow a power strip with a switch to turn off all workstations at once.
Overall it offers good value for money. Some cheaper models, but I preferred to take insurance from a known and recognized for its quality brand, and I fell for her very nice look.
