- Some general at the beginning and the end of the book on the functionality of the touch screen (PSS, Poké Récré SPV), capturing Pokémon, fighting, evolution, reproduction, cultivation of berries, Photos The trainer Videos, Castle Combat, the location of CT and CS ...
Some information is useful, especially those relating to new aspects of the series. The problem is that everything is flown. For example, concern the SPV (Virtual Development System), be aware that it is possible to earn special items by winning some Challenges. But the guide does not say specifically what Challenge gives you the opportunity to win a particular object (this information is also findable on the Internet, so why are they not included in the guide?)
- Beyond these generalities, this book is mainly used to guide you in your adventure. A reproduction of each city and every road included in the guide, which allows to see at a glance all the objects and trainers located there.
The list of items and Pokémon findable in each area is also indicated, providing the opportunity to not miss anything.
Other than that, the guide tells you not not what to do to progress and various tricks punctuate your reading.
Side trainers, only crews major opponents (Champions Arena, rivals, some members of the Team Flare, the Pokémon League obviously) are detailed.
Again, I sometimes found some incomplete information. Time to time we encounter puzzles in the game (catch a Pokémon who fled, jumping on stones to arrive at such a place, to slide on ice, moving rocks) and the guide n ' not always indicate how to solve them. Well, it is true that the puzzles are not very complicated in these games, but sometimes you have to dig the head to a minimum while exploring and from top to bottom it's still the purpose well as a guide provide as much information as possible on what to do!
Another example is the moss-covered rock located in the Bois du Daedalus. Here is indicated the guide: "He did not seem to be there by chance ..." How can you be so vague in a GUIDE ?? This rock is used to evolve Eevee into Leafeon; it is still not easy to guess, this is typically the kind of information that we would get when we buy such a product.
Another example: Berries. We told you in the game it is possible to create hybrid ... do you think the guide will tell you which berries must be put together to push this or that hybrid ...? Well no!
And if not, your journey ends at the Pokémon League: you will not find absolutely nothing about what there is to do after you became Master. Yet still places to explore, legendary Pokémon to capture ... but no, we just do not talk about you.
The guide does not contain any Pokédex, does not tell you how to get all Mega-Gem ...
I think a second volume will be released later (this is what happened with Black 2 / White 2 for example, the volume containing the Pokédex was published after the guide regarding the conduct of the adventure), but nothing has been confirmed ...
Summary: This guide may be useful for those just starting and need of all these obvious information for the regulars but do not flow source for novices. Another element that I found really useful: the cards, along with the lists of items to find and capture Pokémon in each area. Casually, we quickly had to miss a hidden object, to miss a rare Pokémon or lost in cities like Illumis ... This guide helps to identify quite easily.
But go your way if you count discover new things by browsing this guide. Any website will inform you much more fully ...
