First thrash album in history, Kill'em All brand thunderous debut of Metallica. We realize from the first notes that this group has a perfect technical mastery even when they play at 100 per hour. The only weak point of the album is its production, a bit feeble especially at the battery (it is hard to distinguish what Ulrich master sometimes). For cons, the guitar sound is perfect; it looks like a live sound, sharp; during the anthology Hammett solos, although we hear the pick against the ropes rub (it freaks thrill). Titles are enormous: Hit The Lights (anthology), The Four Horsemen (Metallica already changing and offers a more mature and complex title) Motorbreath (killing), Whiplash (killing at killing), The Phantom Lord (with its fabulous solos and its rate of change), No Remorse (which stomp and shake head), Seek And Destroy (legendary and catchy as hell). Only Jump In The Fire and Metal Militia are a little but remain this side of the tracks very well made. This album has revolutionized the metal; after him come groups like Slayer, Megadeth Anthrax, Sepultura and the death-metal. This is simply a legendary album.
