A legend returns!

A song like "Rat Race" shows that Billy Idol has become more mature and thoughtful, but this looks younger and fresher than some present chapel. Substance paying off maintenance.
Furthermore, there are extremely successful and by no means put acting excursions towards Country ("Lady Do or Die" and "Plastic Jesus") and the single failure of the album, the Christmas song "Yellin`at the X-mas Tree".
When you check out tip was "Evil Eye" advised a song that could have come from U2, but much harder and uncompromising sound. Also "Bodysnatcher" one of the highlights of "Devil's Playground".
All in all a really good album that shows us an unprecedented range of Idol`s unique and now really terrific rock voice. If you like real music, not get away from "Devil's Playground".
Any doubters and critics who have repeatedly claimed that Billy Idol was a plastic Punk should, eager to take refuge in your corners. This album is uncompromising than anything we previously received from this man to be heard, because Billy makes this CD just what he wants and what he does best, namely really good, anarchic music!
Conclusion:
Billy Idol is the grammynominierten "Green Day" where the rubber meets the road. This man is almost 50 years just a grossariger musician who has lost none of his old entertainer.
