I have their previous albums also and rate this album in comparison with these two albums. It's not as varied in styles as "Alright Still" was. It is apart from a slight hip-hoppigen trip (Silver Spoon) and a Country-piece (As Long as I got you) all in the great pop corner. This can at any rate for himself how he wants to. A little more variety (possibly slight ska outings or experimental moments) would in my view the album well done. As it stands, however, it forms a round affair without much disturbing moments.
I want to highlight positive especially the bonus tracks that complement this album very positive. This is especially "Somewhere only we know" (a Keane cover) mentioned that missed the song a completely new, almost creepy atmosphere.
On the whole, Lily has on this album musically is nothing new, the reinvention of the brand Lily Allen has, yes, but no one asked. New music from her has indeed passed all but a certain spiciness by new influences would have been desirable. This album would musically also can appear as early as 2011. without that it would have sounded different in size.
