++ Battery (really holds nearly 500 recordings, half of them flashed)
++ Ergonomics: very handy, very flat and therefore well stowed, robust
++ Beautiful design
++ Incredibly sharp images (high resolution) in bright light!
+ Very fast tripping, even with multiple flash
+ Very strong flash, also with double flash (eyes) or softer flash for more leisurely pictures
+ Very good menu navigation, clarity
+ Settings, extensive menu selection of preset image modes
+ Class price / performance ratio
What I do not care:
0 Software not great - but who needs that?
Only greatly shortened 0 complete guide as a PDF in paper version
0 images can be reduced only to well 2MB, 1 Minute Movie eats 50MB
-> So large memory card with purchase (but it pays off, the only way to focus also be noted) !!
0 The large display is the exposure of the camera freely and is not even protected by delivery by a slide: simply order the film
Shortcomings:
- Noticeable, but begrenzbares noise (like almost all alternatives as well). My tip: ISO 50-100 preset in low light conditions, then the noise is minimal. Automatic tends to want to make such recordings yet with ISO 200-400 and to select the exposure time is too short. that's too bad. Indoor shots without using the flash, however, are very noisy or slightly blurred by prolonged exposure. Here one must then use the soft lightning. Alternatives there are in this price range in my opinion not.
- Film: Clean zooming is only possible digitally. Otherwise, even in low light conditions surprisingly good film quality.
- The bright flash sometimes flash objects lying close. There is an improving auto flash stabilizer, but you have here in extreme cases reprocess.
Resume:
I've exchanged a camera (Kodak) before I came to this, have the images with those of mates for a 100 euro expensive camera compared (Canon) and other modest cameras tried (Sony) and have to say: The relativized all criticism and shows that the camera is absolutely top just yet. Buy.
