Blu Cantrell was born in 1976 in Rhode Iceland, for the daughter of a national basketball player and a jazz singer the light of day.
In 2001, she attracted already with their debut album 'So Blu' some attention. Then there were the singles 'Hit Em Up Style' and 'Round up' with Lady May (never heard of this track). These are also on 'Bittersweet'. Well the single 'Breathe' should surely everyone know.

The album kicks off with 'I love you' a great, soulful opener, with Blu's soft gentle voice. In 'Sleep in the middle' Blu sings about the separation from her boyfriend, to perfect chorus and at the end she lets her voice just "run wild". 'Unhappy' and 'Do not Wanna Say Goodbye' to me are very soulful songs, actually the most emotional on the album, with sad Beat, both are also of separation. But with 'Do not Wanna Say Goodbye' regrets Blu they broke up with him. 'Risk it all' is a real catchy tune, hear me the first time really in it long remained. 'All you had to say' and 'Happily ever after' are very happy songs vorallendingen 'All you had to say'. In 'Happily ever after we noticed really the clear voice of Blu. 'Let her go' is a very good song that I like because of gewissn drama. In 'No Place Like Home' Blus it comes to your home, they never want to leave it. Unfortunately, the song impressed not too good for me, but still he has become very good. For 'Round up' with Lady May I thought that would be a great ballad, and that's the track not just because it's a real hip hop track! Really cool Country Beat and to the genius of rap Lady May Zwie a party on nem farm;.)). 'Swingin' like me through the cool chorus and he simply different from the other songs. Even 'Make me wanna scream' is just great.
