- Good keyboard
- Matte screen
- Long battery life
Now comes the big BUT:
In "normal" keyboards Caps Lock is right in the bottom row of the "M" separated by 3 keys (comma, period, underscore). Quick prediction as I get used to this division, regardless of whether the keyboard is then scaled as percent. The ratio remains the same.
The photos here on Amazon show no German unit and therefore no German keyboard - since missing the umlauts. The German keyboard looks like the field at the bottom right: After the "M" there are 4 buttons, in addition to the above even the button "
The result: Who typed quickly engages in capital letters, ie for the shift key on the right, next to permanent and then type "
I guess you can get used to it. For me it was nevertheless an absolute knock-out criterion, because I will change a lot between normal notebook and netbook, really quick tap and the handle to the right outermost found very annoying for the Shift key.
I ordered an Asus 1018P, which has me - despite "Glare Screen", but very good glare ;-), and "only" nine hours battery life not only in terms of keyboard very enthusiastic. It is also a real narrow weight and also visually a Designerstückchen (but which was not a reason to buy, only fortunately compared to Samsung still a plus-point more, but that's a matter of taste).
