Packaging: (MEGA MINUS)
When the parcel brought me this package, I first thought I get 10 pieces of it. Unbelievable. 3 packaging.
I got an XS kettle in an XL package. I'm sorry, but I find it out of order.
Where the protection of course is incredibly good. Because nothing gets broken. ;-)
Additional: Have the same kettle also in black, here the same packaging disaster!
Operation and quality:
The power supply is ensured via a dead plate. This is advantageous because you can set up puts the kettle as 360 °. Also security has been well taken care of here in terms. One can drive with no problems so plugged into the kitchen leave.
The Complete announcements (2 pieces) are very easy to read.
The power button is provided with a lamp that addresses at power up. (Might however like to be a bit brighter!)
The Decker can be opened only when the two buttons are pressed on the cover. The idea is not bad, but it falls short here in the implementation. When the buttons too much pushing, it may happen that you get stuck in and with difficulty, it is possible to bring it back to its original position. (I'm sure that this is in the long run a vulnerability on the unit. (The same phenomenon, incidentally, the kettle black!)
The heating element is concealed below installed in the kettle, making cleaning an easy. Also, a calcification of the heating elements is not possible. Thanks to the Edelstahlheizabdeckplatte rust nothing.
Heating:
To bring lukewarm water (about 25 ° C) for cooking needed the device 4 minutes 20 seconds.
The automatic shut-off switches the unit off automatically. (But is now standard ...)
The Smell:
Unfortunately the kettle smells very. Despite now several uses of the boiler still smells plastic. (Slightly charred.) While it is slowly getting better, but after about 20 uses you expect but then at some point that it looked stunken.
Conclusion:
The kettle is not bad and satisfied in each case its purpose. He is also visually beautiful.
As long as the lid with the two snaps but holds is debatable. Even the smell is not just a mark of quality for my taste. Referring now to still the price I have to say that I can recommend the device is limited. (2/3 of the price would be appropriate, in my view, and would also reflect the true value of the unit.)
A little "gotcha" there's still:
Made in China ...
(I am now trying to buy only equipment from Germany. This secures jobs and often quality!)
