A lot of work, then ran the multiplayer!

I bought despite the many negative reviews 2x Anno1701 hammer price, as we wanted to play it in multiplayer.
Requirements: laptops, Win7 64bit and 32bit Win7, newer or newest driver is installed.

Games installed, game ran on both laptops properly in single player.

In multiplayer we could not connect to each other. A solution to our problem can be found, incidentally, here: [...]]]

The game itself is just great, therefore a perfect score. Because once you've figured out what you need, and the game is running, the gameplay simply outweighs the initial problems. Even though I was on the verge of the Games again to send back what indeed is rather problematic to impossible for software with Key ...

Special at the hammer price version:
+ The manufacturer has the copy protection removed
- Unfortunately, this a piece of his program code overlooked: to connect to a multiplayer server
+ There must be entered no key for the single player, even if a case is
- Multiplayer requires key, but does not ask explicitly for, see link above

So if you have problems to make the hammer price version in multiplayer run, then take a look at the manual (link above), and it should help you, I am happy about feedback.
