A major book

It is a well written book, easy to read, although the subject is complicated and dense content. The author has an encyclopedic knowledge of everything that affects the US and the Middle East. It also perceives that it has a certain intimacy with Lebanon, a fondness for this country, which gives a very strong human dimension to the tragedies they described soberly.

I learned a lot by reading this book on a subject that I thought connaitre.L'auteur already has a mastery of every detail (which are always sourced accurately notes), but above all, it presents an overview of events that I had never read elsewhere. It is exceptionally rewarding, a major book.

I do not understand why an author of such importance is systematically denigrated in our media, but after reading it, I'm not surprised that it has such political influence abroad.
