A marvel 44

I am far from being a fan of Foenkinos - which allows me to say more freely that I loved "Charlotte". The style is original: it is not a "page turner" but a "line turner", resulting in a need to move quickly evokes the speed at which Charlotte Salomon painted his works in end of his life.
And the story itself is shocking. It is both unique in the sense that it really concerns a person, and universal because all the Nazi horror is evoked through it.
Special mention to the role of Alfred Wolfsohn, love Charlotte, author of a work method on voice quite remarkable which was taken in France by the Roy Hart where internships give a very high quality. I did not share - I recommend it!
