The Rummikub is inspired by a deck of cards (hence the 4 color chips and numbering from 1 to 13: from 1 to 10 + jack, queen, king) where the goal is to be the first to get rid of all your cards by making combinations of at least 3 cards (either suites in the same color or the same numbers in different colors). Here, the cards are replaced by plastic chips with numbers. Each player (2 to 4) has a support allowing to have a little more than fifteen chips safe from opponents looks. The manufacturer says that it is played from 8 years old, but with a little help from an adult when it gets stuck a little, children can begin before (my girls started 7 years and it amuses them). This travel Rummikub is made of the same plastic as its big brother, and in the same format: the plates and the supports are simply 3 times smaller and it is not at all annoying. Rather, it takes up less space on the table, allowing a better overall view of the game. Packaging is a beautiful iron box. Size: about 19 cm x 13 cm x 5 cm (I say this because I wanted to know before buying and I found these dimensions anywhere on the internet!). This box has a tiny flaw: the cover seems to be easy to open by itself. So watch out wedge the box in your travel bag if you do not want to go fishing with 104 rooms ... In short, a very good product and frankly, to have played with both the big model with this, needless to pay three times more for the big box, little is as good and is largely the case for 30 euros less!
