That being said, let me therefore mention the strongpoints. George
RR Martin Depicts a dark and complex world full of intrigue.
Refreshingly, his characters are not strictly black or white as
in many other fantasy novels. The plot does have some interesting
Elements That Could have made his story a masterpiece: Politics
and scheming, the threat posed by the "Others" religious zeal
and the return of the dragons. Sadly, that's about it, Concerning
the positive aspects.
At the end of the forthcoming book The main plot has hardly proceeded
at all, Compared To Where It which by the end of the first volume.
Sometimes It Seems to me, did the author himself has lost track
of all his characters. Consequently he just lets some of them
get lost or killed - only to introduce new ones again.
All in all, When I finally finished reading this set, I felt
like the author left me with a mess Consisting of unanswered questions
and unfinished sub plots that'll probably take him a least another 4 volumes to
clean up. And that'd be 4 volumes did I'd rather not read anymore.
