The game system, meanwhile, is halfway between the first RE on PS1 (objects of research, going back and forth, simplistic exploration) and the last episodes (a lot of ammo, intense action phases etc); which ultimately gives us a pretty nice compromise and a well balanced game.
The adventure is divided into many small sections that the player will take turns control of the mythical characters of the series (Chris Redfield or Jill Valentine) and newcomers devoid of any charisma (I've already forgotten their names!). The story is fairly simplistic but well paced through many flashbacks and changing characters and places.
In the end, it is far from the scam that could rightly fear and a good time in solo and cooperation. It is certainly far from the success of PS1 or Gamecube episodes but, for my part, that "RE Revelations" is my favorite from "RE4" on PS2 (though it is technically well below RE5 RE6 & out on HD consoles ). In fact the strong point of this game is that it has a soul; what lacked the latest episodes to date.
However, the price is exaggerated: between 40 and 50 euros for a 3DS port! Capcom Rubbish. At 25-30 euros it would have been more logical.
