a nexus 9-awaited BUT! ...

I received my Nexus 16GB Version 9 November 5th I was able to benefit from the offer 379 euros with Chromecast offered.
Already amazon congratulations to the time limit of delivery and also for his service on the site.

Regarding the tablet:

It replaced my nexus July 2013 who touts the advantages.

+ What I liked:

9 The nexus is a good tablet with a screen that has a size in inches (8.9 inches) between the Nexus 7 and iPad Air.

* A resolution 2k up to the large but no better than that of the nexus in July 2013 that had already this strength (they have a number of almost similar dpi).

* The tablet is fast: the most demanding applications and 3D games (tested with Fifa 15) rotate in a fluid way without any worries!

* The sound is great! by against the low-remember, the sound is a little shrill.

+ New:
---------------
Android LOLLIPOP with flat design (design or hardware) without overlay made with a sober.
Google has added other features that are not bad (multi windows sempilent for example, the notifications panel has given a major overhaul, the appearance of multi-accounts and of a function "Do not disturb ....)
there are positives so but this version 5.0 does not really change kit kat since Android 4.4 but is still far more sober than heavy overcoats of other manufacturers (especially Samsung) after it is question of each taste.

+ What I did not like:

* The high and low sides are still quite wide. HTC did not used to this kind of failure. It is far from "HTC" high-end design that the manufacturer has accustomed us. an elegant shelf for me is that with edges so thin (samsung galaxy tab style at least 8.4 S! or LG phablet G3)

* The tablet looks unprofessional assembly (edges coming out of the screen that leave a little small but visible game and can interfere discerning behind poorly integrated camera, ...)

* Size 4: 3 is significant for reading (magazine, ebook, web ...) but not for the video!

* If the tablet sen doing pretty well with a fairly neutral color rendering, whites tend to pull yellow.
The most serious is the light of LED unevenly distributed, it is clear on a black background to the edges, a luminous halo that is not pleasant to see!

* Heating somewhat even in normal use. The hottest point is located to the rear side of the NPC (FYI, the nexus July 2013 never even warmed by pushing harder).

* The tablet back drops slightly off the center by pushing the nexus logo.

* Aluminum surrounding the tablet is not really felt on the black version.

* The screen is very sensitive to traces of fingers!

* The promise of the battery that holds 10h surprises me, with normal use and varied I can say, 6 am until 7 max!
Lately I've noticed that the battery is quickly depleted even in standby mode! And the worst is that its recharge takes more than 4 hours !!

* Accessories of this tablet are extremely expensive, they are at inflated prices in google play (case and keyboard) !!
A track: for the case one can find on amazon sold 12 euros and will do.

* APN always means despite the 8 megapixels. videotape remains correct.

* Prices so high compared to what it is! Even with the offer of Amazon (Chromecast offered 379 euros), the value in July 2013 is widely nexus best!

* And still no SD slot despite elevé price! (Incentive to use Google Drive to collect your data)

+ Summary:

it's still a good tablet for those seeking an alternative to the iPad, a small tablet size 8.9 with a good screen and a fierce 285dpi processor.
For those who want to enjoy the video on tablet, the Nexus frankly July 2013 is well ahead of its size with 16: 9! even if the style of the latter does not unanimously (wide brimmed too ...)

I still regret having sold my Nexus 7, 2013. I was expecting a successor who has the top quality manufacturing. Beh not, at this price I'm a little disappointed. Google and HTC have not kept their promises despite the high price of this product.

I took the 16GB version with supply amazon because the tablet was the cheapest, beihh there I'm already filled 10GB, so I installed that much (I recall that you did no memory expansion).

I find that rising marketing campaign to market this tablet was not transparent, a cash game hidden and implausible suspense to enhance the product was introduced. People are beginning to understand that we must not panic or rush to buy a product before seeing a satisfactory and comprehensive return of buyers and neutral sites.

For now it's still the tablet that share my life with at least a sober without unnecessary add Android and has the right to update priority.
can be made the next day on android nice lollipop and involvement of the developer community to exploit the performance of this nexus will change the game.

Is the end I recommend this tablet: Yes ... looking good plans to have it (or flash sale htc promo amazon ....) but not pity the advertised price right now :-(

Or take one:
"Sony xperia tablet z 3" or
"S samsung galaxy tab 8.4" (amoled screen - not the pro)

At least with the latter you will have the elegance and premium quality promised.

Fortunately I had a chromocast with this nexus, at least this is a key google true success.

And if Sony is preparing the new Nexus tablet from Google? Frankly this time, I am ... crazy!

And inform you that I have returned without regret the nexus tablet 9 to amazon and I took his place at the xperia tablet z 3 ... with the latter is that of happiness.
