Through a chance meeting, Jane will be the beneficiary of a strange present: three weeks (non refundable) in England in a false world Austinian. Hoping to cure his affliction and of course unable to resist the temptation, Jane accept this gift from heaven fell and jumps cheerfully on the plane. She is greeted by a period matron, who does not hide that his obvious poverty does not make it a good customer, those who come back every year, and it will be held in tile. Cheating is prohibited, it will have to adopt the conveniences time, wear clothes and matching hairstyles and behave according to the rules.
Jane arrives, is greeted by her "aunt" and "uncle" and discovers his room, both disappointed and relieved that all modern comfort has not been denied (modern piping and makeups are allowed).
The "ladies" around him (you can choose the name and age, and rich clients live their fantasy background, blithely skimming twenty years) are clients, the gentlemen are actors, Obviously. No talking and even watch the servants! And so on ...
The story is really fun: between practice realization that life is frighteningly bleak Austin (walks in the park, embroidery, small talk, endless days), the constant allusions to Jane Austen novels while the charge varies the scenario in order to offer the ideal fantasy for each client, and that our Jane wonders if she is not going to end up in Fanny (Mansfield Park) or Anne (Persuasion), not always very pure dialogues, Jane's enthusiasm who enjoys all the same lot, reading is very pleasing.
We play to guess what the players can actually think, what scenario will happen and, of course, where then lies the romance, the true, the one that promises the novel since the first pages!
Although one can guess some things, it is difficult to sort out fantasy and pretense and the end is still a surprise, at least it was for me, I doubted to the end.
An unpretentious novel, funny and tailored for readers enamored of Jane Austen though - and perhaps because - the story never try to do the pseudo Austenien Jane: that's false and decor is seen perfectly , to our great fun!

* The time that this comment appears, my daughter had finished this novel, she enjoyed as much as me, for his humor and his unpredictability.
