While this is a copy of the model from Canon. It does not have on its inside wall of felted fabric avoiding reflections against but it is equally effective for the protection of the front lens and seems well finished and solid. The bayonet fits snugly in both the position of use in reverse position for transport. In short excellent quality / price more than enough for my personal use. As the ad says, "why spend more?"
