While I almost never read book on personal development etc ... I loved this book that has been the cause of a profound change in me and my home. From the first pages I immediately adhered to the philosophy of some of the essential, inner freedom ... I have not slept for several nights because I thought all my cluttered closets and all those objects that polluted me the space and the view ... Incredible as these objects actually influence the well-being and the Freedom! With D.Loreau I won freedom: freedom to throw and freedom to enjoy the little luxury ... His explanations are clear: why so many resistances to throw? because of a nostalgic past or potential future, or an education that prevented me from really take ... Well as I changed and I feel better! My kitchen was gutted full of odds and ends, the surfaces are almost bare and this gives me want to cook, as the living room, what a pleasure to enjoy the almost empty ... so my luxury candle is development and I still appreciate more. And our bedroom also won the space, the void, that feels good! and allows to sleep relaxed without not overlook a lot of things above the cabinets or in a corner ... With this book, I could separate myself from certain things I never thought I could throw it, it's crazy ... All vacuum is also beneficial for cleaning, clean the house, it's a very foolish! I find pleasure in maintaining my house ...
I keep the book at hand because I like to read a few sentences that give me immediately fishing!
Small reservation though: it concerns the Buddhist philosophy. Everyone has their personal beliefs and so, although I agree with many principles (including denial of excessive materialism) I reject the idea that we should not attach to other individuals in the end are like objects: source of attachment and thus suffering ... It is my (Christian) the limit of Buddhist thought.
