My most expensive lens I protect with a B + W Neutral Clear Protection Filter (77mm MRC Nano)
with which I am fully satisfied.
For the front lens of my recent purchase I wanted to buy a protection filter, this time fell
my election to the Hoya HD Protector, who was on the one hand cheaper than the B & W, but nevertheless
could produce equally good reviews.
ORDERED AND UNPACKED:
At first glance, the filter makes a very high-quality impression. The glass is really crystal clear
and practically invisible. The thread is perfectly cut, the filter can be no funny business
easily screws on the lens, the lens cap also fits perfectly - two thumbs up for
the mechanical processing!
I have made several comparison shots with and without a filter and was able to also in the
100% view see no Unterschiedin the optical imaging performance - Perfect!
CONCLUSION:
I do not want to go without a protective filter with expensive lenses. The front lens is
reliably protected from scratches and dirt without compromising the optical imaging performance
will have to make. For that I am much more relaxed when shooting, that was the whole point.
