- Voodoo Chile, great vocals + guitar, is seething and boiling, 16 min. long
- Georgia on my mind: Steve alone at the Hammond organ. He should often venture to the very old stuff.
- Cocaine: very nice piano, sounds like a traffic number from the best of times (Low Spark)
- Glad: driving Clapton solo.
- Low down: rolls and rolls.
- Them Changes: nice wind instruments (by Chris Stainton on keyboards)
- Forever you: pretty fast, reminiscent of "I_m a man"
- Little Wing: still a Hendrix-number, each sings a verse.
- Presence of the Lord: very nice alternating vocals
Weak Punke:
- No Face, No Name: actually a pretty rediscovery, however, sung + played a little shaky.
- Had to cry today: too much Gitarrengegniedel for my taste, and also at the same time.
- Split Decision: Superfluous number from the 80s.
Unfortunately, there is a very good version of Crossroads, which is only available on the DVD.
Otherwise a great concert. You can tell in every second the enthusiasm of all those involved. The pieces are reinterpreted with a lot of antiphonal singing and very exciting, far more than in the Cream reunion a few years ago.
