A bit skeptical after just flew over the book in bookstores, I ordered it after being seduced by the style of the author in "Listen to your body." This new book on the five wounds me even more marked that "Listen to your body." The five wounds are presented rejection, humiliation, betrayal, abandonment and injustice. This is a typology of people: each of us would have suffered in its infancy one or two key injuries, and perhaps a little of the other in some ways. Forming each then a "mask", respectively that of "shifty", "masochist", "monitoring", "dependent" and / or "rigid". Initially these words seemed a little rough, however, from reading the injuries and masks descriptions, two key injuries described me perfectly as my two main aspects, while the three other injuries did not fit me at all. Gradually, as I reconnnaissais in the words of Lise Bourbeau I learned about myself. It also deals with our relationship with our parents, and I recognized the injuries of several people in my inner circle, which made them see me with more kindness and understanding. My only negative comment is that I wish that the "fundamental healing your injury" is more developed.
