On the side of writing: A smooth writing, simple and catchy, engaging characters, an unusual history, this is the recipe that makes this novel a marvel. A style that I love and an original layout with page numbering upside as the countdown of our two protagonists. This is a book that makes us go as fast tears to smiles and brings us to tears to finally make us laugh and then we plunged into melancholy and hope. It is a strange reading that I really loved and even though the end is not the one I had hoped, I was really excited, upset by this final view more poignant.
Conclusion: This novel is a lesson of life. While talking about the death, the author leads us to understand that even if at some point in our life, we are convinced have nothing more to lose, there are always things that are worth living. So I thank Baptiste Beaulieu for this hymn to life. And I advise everyone to read this beautiful novel, and I will quickly getting this first novel by this author.
