I really liked this book. There are novels that are good for you, which are hair cell what you need at a given time, and Beautiful Bastard was that for me.
First of all, I will remember the omnipresent humor that novel. I must say that I love the hate / love relationship, and I was served! Their spread, although a bit vulgar at times it must be admitted, are hilarious.
The characters themselves are also cute. Chloe is a very professional young woman who tries to willy-nilly with the dirty nature of his "Beautiful bastard" boss, and for that we can only admire. She knows what she wants in life, it's a very serious man. It therefore does not understand why she lets go well with his boss. As for Bennet (dreamy sigh) ... I really fell for him. The alternation of perspectives is also very interesting. At first, when it is his turn to be the narrator, I was not at all convinced by it. But then once you get to know him better, he's awfully cute Mr. Ryan. It makes blunders, says things he should not, but in the end always comes to be forgiven. I liked the fact that it was he who always understand first the implications of their actions every time, the way he manage Chloe so she would not panic too much. It was really lovely.
I found their relationship contruisait so completely natural, making them very credible story. They are not perfect, they are ugly dirt. They do not move from hatred to love in a few pages fortunately. Instead, they are faced with all kinds of feelings they are able to manage neither one nor the other, and it is very well made. This is not only a story of sex, it's much more than that, so I take my hat off to the authors, who have managed to blend so cleverly hatred, desire, tenderness and complicity.
You will therefore understand, I'll keep this little treasure in my library, to be able to read at your leisure! I look forward to following, including the new Bennet and Chloe, which I hope will close in style their very special relationship! Meanwhile, for me it will be the maximum score.
