a really rather mediocre microscope

I prepare just a bio-hour and had to stand next to me just this model. I have tried different objects. Both the use of the microscope and software are really very simple. At the microscope, there is a rotatable bearing for changing lenses, which also locks very well. In addition, there are 3 different lighting options: together incident, transmitted and both, for which each of the stages can be regulated even in the brightness. In addition, the microscope has a direct photo button. The power supply runs entirely via USB. In the software itself you can adjust the display parameters (contrast, saturation, gamma, etc ...) again. So far so good.

Let's talk about why this microscope anyway no more than 3 star gets: The construction is made of plastic, that is every time you press one of the buttons on the upper part of the microscope, the camera loses the focus on the preparation. In addition, the microscope has only a coarse drive for setting the table and no additional fine drive, which makes it very difficult to adjust in the biggest enlargement a sharp image. And that would be the next point: During the 20-fold and 80-fold magnification are still quite good to use, the 350 times magnification is absolutely bad. From this expansion it should already be possible to detect cells in detail. I used tentatively blood cells, buccal cells (see photo) and apple skin cells and none of the 3 objects could be seen at the highest magnification cells or cell organelles.
