Street Fighter IV (CD-Rom)

Customer Review

While Street Fighter, I had not played since 2 on SNES, and having no xbox I preferred to wait for the PC (and enjoy the very high resolution by the way).

And what a slap!
Graphically, it is superb. A particular graphic style, for a special atmosphere, it's all good but useless to add, anyway the screenshot speak for themselves.
Where it is very strong, the animations. For once no one has the impression that it is a polygon clusters. One gets the impression that these are real bodies ... When someone gets a big slap in the belly (eg among others), the whole body undulates in shock ... It's really great fact.

Now, and this is most important, the gameplay!
Fighting game in 3D with 2D gameplay, and that is indeed the case. Capcom has occasionally lowered the level of demand for special moves etc, and it shows right away. All hits out at once, so that the keyboard joystick (I assume that the same goes for pros stick). Results from the first part feels very familiar territory and we start immediately to assess the beast. This game is fun for the first part ...

In the long term ... the game is so technical, so full of little treasures here and there, you will enjoy. Even after weeks to play intensely, I feel they know nothing of the game so I still learn every day ....

The difficulty level of the computer is well balanced, although the final boss is thoroughly cheated, and I do not ressents real difference between difficulty modes.

But the game makes sense when taking off for the online game mode.
Possibility of part of classification, which lose or gain points.
And the possibility of inviting QQ1 friendly game or play against a stranger, and to chain the parts with him (I confess that I prefer this mode, it varies a little more parts because in the ranking we will meet +/- tjrs the same characters, who are recognized as the strongest ... but in friendly game people dare take less characters they mastered in order to vary a bit.)

Overall I + continues to play an hour a day at this game, and I think it's far from over.

A final word on the configuration. For once it's not a sloppy console port, and a priori it should properly run on a modest machine.

In short, go for it!
