As I listen to all day Internet radio, I've been thinking about energy consumption. My Pioneer 20 is indicated with 135W consumption, that cometh in the year so a lot together. In my search on the net I came across the power dwarfs the SMSL that have been rated by the users quite positive. The Q5 has 3 inputs, tone control and the same performance as the Pioneer and with a consumption of about 5W. That alone is already weighty arguments. But the most convincing argument is the sound which is quite equal for me to the Pioneer. Analog via a preamplifier I hear vinyl, via Toslink Internet radio, DVD / Bluray and TV. The performance is for my Heco Victa 700 more than adequate. I would recommend this amp unconditionally on.
