I wanted to increase some speed of my PC without having to go to a more expensive SSD. Well I quickly became disillusioned. After intermittent high-pitched noises, I have found that the disc scratched almost as much as my old Barracuda and it vibrated so much that he literally broke my ears. To put the tower and the floor around the PC as they vibrated !! ... Anyhow he moved from where it had come ... For the little I have been able to test, the boot w7 (5 seconds less to break everything) and Applics commonly used were a bit faster than my vieu HDD. Personally I do not think it justifies the price difference compared to a good old disc tray. In my opinion it is worth investing in a SSD combo (128 / 256GB largely sufficient for the system and some heavy applications and / or frequently used) + a good HDD. Especially that at present we do not know the life of a SSHD ...
