It's 2.0, so without subwoofer: do not expect much, even by pushing the knob to the maximum. I personally do not do it, because the sound it gives me a headache for I know not why. This may be because it is like veiled and very rich! This lack of clarity and fleece side is pretty stodgy for the ears, and so for the head. These speakers really are not to be used for listening to music, unless it is casual or you do not give much importance to the sound quality.
If it is for radio, telephone conversations or TV programs, it will pass, but if you want to regularly listen to some pieces, put 20 euros more to find a more acceptable kit even without cabinet if you want that it remains easy to transport to be connected to a laptop. Even for 10 euros more, I'm sure we can find a more clear and precise!
I would add two things:
- The speakers are rather guidelines; you have to stay in front.
- The kit does not offer standby mode, which is unfortunate, since Logitech integrates it into its other products!
In short, this article did not really convinced. However, it is affordable and also has a very decent volume, a headphone jack and an auxiliary input, so maybe it will convince you anyway if you are not looking a high quality sound.
