The stories are short, simply written and a bit naive and are followed each time notes by Dumbledore in person to comment and interpret the history and explain morality.
All reads quickly and is not unpleasant. That said, nothing exceptional either. Fans of Harry Potter will enjoy this little 'extra' while others will only see one more way to exploit the seam.
