A strand of utopia and hope groove

Short little book of 60 pages that invigorates and gives hope. I recommend it to everyone who has a little bit of blues, to restore faith in a better world, a human meaning to politics and our lives.
I found beautiful concrete proposals in politics. All, however, have a small utopian side, probably because of its brevity that does not raise many problems we face.

Both authors offer ways to fight against crime, financial capitalism (due to speculation that the authors distinguish productive capitalism), social inequality, abuse of globalization (globalization but again is not rejected block, only the negative share is criticized).
This book brings freshness and well-being.

1) on the EDUCATION: "To teach, Plato said, it takes eros." (A love of knowledge and love for those who are taught).

2) Hanneth Axel: "It is through the experience of love that everyone can access the self-confidence."

3) on the Poetry and Life: "The prose of life enables us to survive but to live is to live poetically.."

4) feeling EXCLUSION: "We must understand that those that our society rejects reject and we reject it." (On the problem of crime and its causes). The authors note that Caracas a symphony orchestra was created with youth from slums and this contributed to the reduction of juvenile delinquency.

5) The importance of arts in our society that brings happiness and wonder: "As we believe that any good life policy must cultivate the poetry of life, which involves the affective participation capacity, admiration, of wonder, it must promote aesthetic culture that helps us to live poetically. "
