The kettle was well packed to at my home. In addition to the original box of the kettle is further protected by a neutral white cardboard. Foil and further towards the paperboard prevent from sliding in transit. Of course, besides the kettle as well the appropriate connector (base) is included, as well as a German-speaking guide.
At first sight immediately convinced me of Aqua Vita kettle. It is mainly made of stainless steel, the paint looks strong and slightly shiny. The design is truly unique. Really good, I like the temperature display on this unit. So far, I knew no kettle, where you can track the temperature. Inside the construction for measuring the temperature can be seen. The heating element is hidden, as with all modern appliances under the stainless steel base. Unlike other kettles, the lid is removed completely to the boiler to fill with water. The plug-in comes in handy because you can turn the kettle on by 360 °.
Within a short time the water begins to boil. While the charged water is heated, it is possible to follow the analog thermometer on the outside, as the temperature rises. That's very funny and even very advantageous because you can just interrupt the cooking process at the desired temperature. When cooking, I learned this function already appreciate. However, one can only track the temperature when there is enough water in the device. The automatic switch-off works properly. Of course, there is a lever, to terminate the cooking process prematurely.
It should be noted that the steel surface is extremely hot. With my old plastic kettle housing by far was not as hot as here precisely the steel casing. Because the handle of the teakettle, but is made of plastic and not at all is warm, you can avoid burns. What I also like is how well the outpouring with this kettle works. It runs nothing down on the edge. This kettle can very well dispense the amount of expiring water. When pouring no hot steam comes in the area of the handle and thus not in the vicinity of the hands.
What I unfortunately do not like is the lack of scale. We know not how much water you have just the kettle! One can orient themselves only to the maximum display in the digester, which then means 1.5 liters.
Conclusion: The Klarstein AquaVita kettle is not only a visual highlight but also a powerful device. By analog thermometer can follow the temperature well. Unfortunately, there is a scale. For the current sale price you get a decent device. Of course it's not the 80 euros devices comparable, but by the retro look has this kettle of Klarstein easy to offer something very special.
