Noise Reduction
What can we expect from the NC? From a technical perspective, only repetitive sounds low to combat it. For all other noises the time is not sufficient to calculate the counter-sound. This means in practice on the train, for example in the regional train, bus, tram or old aircraft is doing well and you can hear a marked effect. In ICE, the effect is not as great because the ICE is also not as loud and very subdued by sealing. Another thing is, when it is quiet, the ear is more sensitive. This means that one is in the station, the NC turns on, in the first few minutes, it is nice and quiet and then get used to the ear and you can hear a bit of the environment. Since must not be disappointed you, which is always so (One can take out the headphones then you can see what they bring ;-)).
Sound
Personally, I find the sound good, not too much bass, but rather balanced. But one must not compare with more expensive headphones. What stands out is very pleasant that the NC is not particularly noisy as is the case with other comparable products. A bit of noise very quiet passages in classical pieces if you listen closely noticeable but it does not bother.
Other
It well I find the supplied cable to connect your MP3 player, it's a bit long but you get also be more freedom where you lay the setter, on the plane or additives which is super, rather more cable than too little. The supplied adapter for the big catch and the aircraft is also great.
