The Harmony 350 I have chosen, even though I have the larger color displays with well-liked, but I wanted to save money and have my previous FB no displays. Also displays suck indeed the batteries drain faster.
== == Prehistory and earnings
For me the 350s following situation should improve:
(A # before the name to indicate that I do not have FB for these devices / had!)
I) Living room: ToshibaTV + Cable Receiver + #StereoReceiver + BlueRay player plus any borrowed #Videorekorder
II) Outbuildings: #GrundigTV + #DolbyReceiver
In situation I in the living room so my problem was this: The sound of ToshibaTV is so bad that always runs through conditioning and interen speakers are disconnected. Because I lack the FB for the #StereoReceiver, I had this on or off, which is sometimes annoying seeeehr always manually.
Here the harmony has 350 solved it perfectly, because over the top action button now all three for TV major appliances are turned on simultaneously, and in #StereoReceiver even the correct audio input is activated! (Adjustable)
In situation II I had no more FB, and the #GrundigTV was rudimentary with 4 touch buttons to operate.
Again, the harmony has 350 perfectly convinced. It all goes!
== == Delivery & Unpacking
The Harmony 350 comes in a blister pack with a "Easy Open" -finger-opening, on which you can break open a revolving perforated area is. Can should. Should. Normally. The blister is but so brittle that it tears there fragile where it should not and produces this injury. In any case I did not get open the packaging without bloodshed and could still reach only with a pair of scissors to the interior.
Here would have been the better choice is a box with window.
Downgrade Here is also the absolutely only reason I forgive no 5 stars, which would otherwise have definitely earned the product!
Nice but: are not supplied cheap batteries, but my favorites: Duracell. Very commendable!
A USB cable is included with this.
The instructions without the "missing" CD have confused me only.
== == Facility
So batteries are installed (UPS, battery compartment something bad to open), USB cable and turn off open to the PC, instructions, Aha, you should go through the website. There, there the software to download. I do not entirely accurate, but it and the online Compulsion inkl.Registrierung I would pull no full point.
The installation and setup are then worked wonderfully. The software performs a wizard (I avoid otherwise happy) very good goal.
I want to highlight a particularly positive that the harmony has 350 recognized easily make all my equipment, and seemingly all functions are housed within easy reach. And I think I have tested all functions. I did not necessarily expect so perfect as a wild mix of fairly current ToshibaTV up to for almost 25 years old #DolbyReceiver my Harmony has put to the test.
Is also positive that the Harmony finally with more transmission power than my cable box-FB. This was available in front of the device only maximum 2.40m in a funnel of 30 °, which has often brought me to the brink of insanity, because the receiver reacts incredibly sluggish. Users of Unitymedia receiver from Echostar know by which I suffered.
But now I can - as I know from IR FBs actually since the beginning (!) - Finally also aim again backward against the wall and the S ******* (hehe, sorry) switches to safe!
As negative points I can only cite that the packaging is chosen really stupid, to set up an Internet connection is necessary and compulsory registration takes place. This could, however, be reasonably avoided, since one does not receive to confirmatory e-mail, which only then unlocks the features. A bit annoying I find even the piano lacquer look. Looks really great, far ists also strangely not yet covered in fingerprints, but Matt would have been ok.
=== === MY CONCLUSION
Highly Recommended, the faux pas with the VP can forgive quickly if the many and sometimes ugly or chunky other FBs have finally had its day. Moreover, any lost FB can thus replace most likely full-featured.
My expectations were even exceeded, since I would not necessarily expect the small model that I can have 2x 2x TV and audio receiver (amplifier with Radio) easily programmed at the same time!
Compared to other, something half as expensive "programmable" FBs I find price and performance really reasonable and very good. The possibility via USB is to make comfortable on your computer all the settings to better sovieles than in instructions booklet in yard long tables "Device Code 4711-0815" to have to look up.
Especially as the real hope is that the online compulsion for constantly updated device codes old and new makes.

It has been shown that not all devices on all remote control codes are installed correctly!
Concrete example: For my #GrundigTV the "Input" key not assigned appears. At first I was afraid that I would need the OriginalFB to the Harmony "to train" because the Harmony a small IR window on "Popo" has and I thought that would be as in the earlier "programmable" FBs.
So started the MyHarmony software on the PC and looked, what I can do. Here now was to my total amazement that Logitech already knows ALL remote control codes for the #GrundigTV and principally provides - but not mitgibt directly in the profile. So for the profile of my TVs I had to actually prove itself the "Input" key or with the appropriate function. In addition, the codes for stereo> Left (ie O-Ton or German) were absent> Right, 16: 9> 4: 3> Cinema, etc, and some less important.
MINUS: At least the INPUT button could have been correctly set up / to the 16: 9 and so selection should not have missing!
PLUS: It can nevertheless still "save" himself and all codes are available without having to "teach" would need an original FB. This is essential because often there to no longer procure yes in older devices.
