Killer criterion Lasting Online forced abolished now appears

April showers bring May - MAGIX has apparently responded to the criticism of the users and abolished the compulsory online. At least, it promises the nondescript reference text "improvements in the validation process (review of the license)", to be found in the current program update (14.0.0.176). So I take back my 1-star rating, and increasing to five preliminary Amazon asterisk. I reserve the right course to test the new feature.

The update is easy to carry out:
- Upper menu bar under "Help" - Choose "Update online" (for the machine must once again to the Internet)

Before now someone wants to complain that I abwerte the program here because of a single criterion - please just once more briefly, why I'm doing this.

Looking for a good editing program for my dad (longtime narrow and videographers) I had been looking forward to be able to test this program here. Promised but everything he expected - with simultaneous good usability. That I "video deluxe 2015 plus" was free here makes me not be bought - after many manufacturers offer on their websites temporary free trial versions for download. My father would then also bought this program quite sure - he trusts my advice completely.

All hardware requirements required on the packaging are met when my father's computer (bought 2013). "Video deluxe 2015 plus" has been installed in more than 45 minutes is required after the first launch and work a few more inquiries and unlocks ("MPEG-4 Basic", "free expansion pack", etc.). The program looks from the surface well and can be - you already know other editing programs - operate really intuitive.

What on the package is missing is a clear indication that the program at least once "phoned home" monthly to be confirmed from there that it may continue to be used - in my view, a clear product defect and a "no go" , My father has namely no internet access and with his 84 years and no longer wants him. I can understand the manufacturer MAGIX that he wants to protect his products license abuse - but please not in this way. So my father and "Movie Edit Pro 2015 Plus" but none have become friends, and he has refrained from buying this product. Luckily, there are still providers namely, where the one-time registration ranges.

I can only fully depreciate this program for secrecy when it comes to the hidden before buying completion permanent online compulsion.
