Was just thrilled, now all flawed ...

I have long back and forth about whether I should buy a good piece, because here many have complained that the meaning is totally wrong as an alarm clock apparently. I wanted out of the whole unit really only 3 things: That it wakes me up with music that I chose, I can go to sleep with it at night and it automatically turns off and sleep timer moderate 3. of course a passable sound has. I bought instead of the original architectonic Philips app that so apparently many functions not optimal (or even not at all) includes, now after many cross-reading and self-tests, the iHandy Alarm Clock Pro App for 0.99 euros which gives me everything I need. Playlist creation, while even shuffle function, weather and Temperaturschlunz here (I do not really need, but nice find), alarm clock with custom playlists and sleep timer, in which even the volume when going out is autonomously pleasantly throttled down to zero when the sleep timer time is up. Which volume the alarm starts in the morning, can be adjusted individually, regardless of the volume at which you want to sleep at night (which I think is very good and what I needed Felt thousand years to find that out: D). So all in all a very successful investment in combination with this very affordable app!

PS As for the reliability of awakening, I can not yet say much, except the few times I've tried the whole thing just now. But the reviews on the AppStore, according to the supposed will have no problem. So a round thing for a decent price with great options, successful design and a truly impressive sound quality for this small device size :)

Addendum: I now have now a number of different alarm clock apps tested and something goes horribly wrong here completely! Slowly I feel that the dock iPod somehow messes up ... Sometimes I am awakened as planned, but in just over 25% of cases, the alarm goes on though, it is but no sound ... The menu will appear and the alarm goes off, so to speak silently. Certainly not necessary to say that one of them is not monitored because any signal is missing .. I have repeatedly checked all settings, apps uninstalled and then reinstalled it, and even the iPod once reset to factory settings, all unsuccessfully. In absolutely incomprehensible distances of the alarm clock just goes on silently and not wake! This happens even now from time to time, when I use the iPod is not on the station point, completely arbitrary and whatever alarm clock app. These errors are previously never occurred until now in combination with the station ... This is very unsatisfactory, because I can not fix the error, and the station can not be used as an alarm clock, which was the original purpose of the purchase. Although the error now appears primarily to start from the iPod, but since this otherwise also works properly and the error apps or only in connection with the station clock occur, there must be a connection since ... Perhaps it is the ipod not it clear, to stand for many hours in the ward and to be permanently charged, but that's the intention, because it must not happen a mistake ...
