A superb compilation

I had read an Amazon customer, a review that encouraged me to listen to Julie London. How right he was!
This singer is simply fabulous. First CD, "Cry me a river" in its original version, and you most likely feel a shock because this version is a far cry above all that we heard thereafter.
The eight albums collected here are uneven course, but all immerse us in the sweet and melancholic universe of this artist who can be windy in the "saudade" Cesaria Evora early. In the evening, installed, these chants from another era impose a form of contagious sweetness and harmony.
I can only recommend all the remastering is excellent.
