I own the WDTV for over one month (October 2014) and I am fully satisfied. I use it a lot, especially to play video from a hard disk. Pros: Easy installation and connections, owls menus (lovely charming), ease of use, recognition of virtually every audio and video formats very correctly, silent, until now no particular problems of operation (no blockages or untimely crashes: long as it lasts) and the reader responds well (no special slow to report, very easy updates through the integrated Wifi ... Any suggestions? Yes, we can always do places: a USB port 3 would be welcome, a small switch back to cut "completely" the device, recognition of DTS HR (for against, the WDTV recognizes excellent DTS and DTS HD ( Master Audio). This is a great product. I compared it to two other much more expensive models (50 to 100 euros more about). They certainly may offer some additional options or settings and richer connectivity but These players do not actually do better to WDTV the contrary. Recommended!
