A problem made me suspicious, however, and led me, after I got it solved, for this review. The app MyTechnisat wanted my receiver just can not find, although this was logged on LAN in my home network (I use a 200Mbit PowerLAN adapter; highly recommended). On the internet on the Technisat homepage is to read that one in Settings> Features> MyTechniSat> the smartphone operation should just switch it on and the app finds the receiver then. Unfortunately, I could find the menu item "MyTechniSat" nowhere. Since were sought during the initial installation of the receiver for software updates and not found, appeared to me this as an error source also implausible. Testing I then offered on the Technisat homepage for the receiver firmware update pulled me from 23/05/2013 to a USB stick and recorded according to instructions. This was the riddle. The menu item appears now and the app works just fine. Especially the programming of the DVR from anywhere on the app was amazing ;-)
Apparently my purchased in October at AMAZON device had been playing an older firmware from pre-App-hours. Small drawback, but my overall impression is not significantly diminish. Maybe I the one or other desperate hereby rendered a small service.
