A good tape stands out when you can easily and quickly pull it off and it has a good adhesion, even on slightly dusty substrates. In addition, it should be malleable and may tear. The Tesa tape meets these points. Most tapes from other manufacturers (up to 3M and Schuller) have major problems here.
One should always make sure that the tape is not too old and it has been stored properly. Excessive heat, cold and moisture destroy each band. The consequences are that the adhesive tape tears during rolling after a few centimeters, and optionally adhered too strong or too weak.
Also you should remove the tape immediately after painting. Leaving it too long stick, then it can be removed again only with difficulty.
Who wants to emphasize his apartment, which I can highly recommend the scotch tape. It can process stress free and you get a first-class result. The additional costs to a cheap tape are extrapolated to an apartment extremely low.
Here again the points to which you should pay attention:
Surface must be free from dust and grease.
Immediately after removal remove
If possible not long camps
If then right bearings (temperature and humidity note)
I would not save in the wrong place and access to the Tesa tape. Other bands are preparing just unnecessary extra work and stress.
