The novel begins with a long lens sorting session. A whole era! It's not that I love the pebbles, but this evocation is a bit of a madeleine of Proust.
Ah lenses! Already appreciated at the time of Adam and Eve (see the story of Cain and Abel). They are an original start, an entry of choice, in the novel by Jean Anglade. This is surprising, when it is expected other delicacies, under the title.
We can not leave this novel, once it started, and turn the last page is a little frustrating.
Jean Anglade is a truly gifted nonagenarian author, and that's to say! Has it not written in the ninety works already? I just know, these days, it just made another publication, entitled "The living dogs", a very dark novel certainly. It is about three prisoners, former Nazis, guarded by 250 guards and placed under four authorities. What a program! I imagine that this is a valuable novel, "in moral significance, philosophical, even metaphysical," as says a critic of "Telegram of Brest", well known daily. My curiosity is enticed. However I do not know if I'll let me try. Fear of this radical change of atmosphere after so appreciated "The delights of Alexandrine", you understand.
A thousand bravos anyway Jean Anglade for its "Délices".
