This product is ideal to be connected to a windows server. In my case, in addition to an LTO backup, it allows me to launch remote backups nas between 2 to 2 different locations for added security. It fits perfectly on a domain controller. And it also allows Synology to provide HTTP and FTP server at low cost. It is against a little oversized for an individual. A + DS2XX than enough since they spent double heart CPU.
