I run the P2770FH to an ATI Radeon HD 4800 and can only say: TOP! The contrasts and colors, for example, in the Blu-ray movie Avatar, are truly unique. The reaction times can each benchmark are an experience and the piano black finish makes it easy every desk eye-catcher. A word of praise to Samsung, this monitor should really call it a SyncMaster!
The few negative aspects have been here so thrashed too satisfied, so I'm only briefly on:
The beautiful frame in piano black finish has of course the disadvantage that it magnetically attracts dust, I'm used to that, my keyboard and my SyncMaster 226BW are of the same material and dusting around I can not anyway around it. The fresh "gestaubwischte" appearance makes the whole, however, more than just good again;)
The rickety stand personally have not yet noticed, but it's true, even my 226BW has at first sight a more stable ..
Last but not least, of course, come to mind right at the start, the modest factory settings in the eye, but that's correct really fast - Here are my settings:
Brightness -> 50%
Contrast -> Between 75% and 100%
Sharpness (to taste) -> Between 88% and 100%
MagicBright -> If the change of course on Custom
Reaction time -> Fastest
MagicColor I've made since I have been working in the desktop publishing and web design area and attach importance to a genuine and not too obtrusive color reproduction. Power but safe for people sense that are very strong, "US" shades)
Color temperature -> Normal
Color Effect -> Off
Gamma -> Mode 3
I for one am the SyncMaster series remain true, the price-performance ratio, the Samsung offers here is simply indescribable good. I attach great importance to top quality and wish to express each, which is as much, a clear buy recommendation from.
I hope this review is so many undecided help.
