In fact, I liked everything about "The Pilgrims Yssel". Each characters have their stories, their lived a full life. One could easily believe they really existed except of course the supernatural side of magic and fantasy. No person is just filler. They are all important, all endearing. There will be people that will love and others not at all certain, or so we love to hate by their natures and characters.
I put a few names that are the central characters in the story: Elvira, young princess of 17, daughter of King Manfred. She gets along well with one of his brothers Haert, which is prince and wants to be in power by taking the place of his father. It Katryn to as companion-servant princess of the kingdom of Abhorn and wife Haert. The agreement with Elvira is not non heyday with Kathryn. Karesh, prince-serving Haert. But also Brillian, and MOEVA Saerra. With this small group, and their hair, they will follow their adventures during their routes. And plenty more. You will find they are awesome. It is also the desire of many to be in power, to have better seats.
The action is not present. Do not expect to have large battle scenes. This first volume throws us in discovering and learning the history of the universe. It does not displease me. The pace is very good as it is. Like what, it shows that writing is perfect since not bored for a second.
Once all these factors taken into account, once the well head past history the discovery of the first chapters and with the enormous help of the precious vocabulary, I felt really good in this book. Thanks to the many descriptions that time (1300 to 1400 and the years), the characters with which it is attached, historical events, battles, turn the pages as you look at the scrolling scenes of a good movie . The images unfold before our eyes by reading the lines. Taking all of the pages, there to finally not so enormous that it dialogues. Many descriptions and descriptive. The universe is put in place. This book reads as seen whey. What's crazy is that if it is, I would never have read the first book because I did not know the publisher nor the author and thus even less Pilgrims Yssel. And I have missed this great fantasy ?? For this reason I thank Oliver for his proposal Linden read his novel into a critical.
Highly Volume 2! With such a rich history and as well built, it is possible to still have plenty to told. Especially since the end leaves us fields on many points back over the next volume.
