A US history view the forgotten of the American dream

As the author himself says the story of the United States seeks "to remind the people that the government wants him to forget" (page 750). Indeed, Howard Zinn aims to show how, since the founding fathers of the US Constitution to President Clinton, every US political leaders have sought to maintain and increase the benefits of the richest class. It is exciting to revisit US policy of the last 50 years in the light of this reading. We now understand that the Bush lies to declare war on Iraq are not an exception but the result of a long list.
In short, an indispensable book.
