My winner is the Nikon S9100 or S8100 (the main difference lies in the focal length).
Here's why:
+ Very good image sharpness
+ Very good color fidelity
+ Best video quality in the test field (sharper and more colorfast than HX7V; S95 can not keep up here)
+ The saved video format can be viewed and used directly on the computer. (In contrast to the MTS files of Sony)
+ Very quickly at power, program change and look at the pictures (in this case the Sony is the last in the field)
+ Good usability, on-screen menu.
+ Housing quality is good (we only P300 exceeded)
This could make it even better:
-The Image stabilizer is good, but that of the Sony absolute tip!
Recordings in low light make the P300 and P95 better, if only because of their high-aperture objective. Also Sony is here quite well, thanks to the technical tricks!
Conclusion:
If you shoot a lot outdoors, in sufficient light, a fast, flexible and orderly processed camera for everyday searches, which makes the way very good films, is certainly well served by the S9100. The partly bad review and depreciation compared to the S8100 could not be confirmed in my extensive testing. When deciding between S8100 and S9100, it depends on what focal length Berich is appropriate.
