After all, a song to have the time and the space until it is fully deployed, the courage to bring a few musicians and bands. The War on Drugs are such an exception, because right at the opening track of their new album, they throw all overboard format constraints: Under Pressure evolves into a nearly nine-minute hypnotic song in which you can easily turn off the day. This principle applies to much of the album that is musically somewhere between Springsteen, Neil Young, Brian Eno and post-rock. Incredibly relaxing, resting in itself comes from the music and each sound is sitting in the right place. Lost In A Dream, the title makes it to the point of this album is like a long, quietly flowing river.
