In fact, the inclined AOR fan is unbelievable many great rock tunes. Each of the songs would get me at least 4/5 (or rather 4.5 / 5) points. The perfect score to earn in my eyes, for example, the powerful opener "Freefall", on the Russel Allen shines again.
I would also like to emphasize 'Not my savior', which is one of the harder pieces, but is still supermelodiös. It is sung by Rick Altzi who is currently also be heard on the new Master Plan (Novum Initium) - a very popular man, then, and that's no coincidence.
Very strongly I also 'Our Time Has Come', where the pace and volume are nice varied. In addition, another brilliant chorus.
Overall, I like the songs where the album is more towards melodic metal than melodic rock (as well as 'Dreamers and Hunters'), better or especially well, because this hardness the often somewhat 'sweet' melodies is very good and them pleasant counterweight offers. In this respect, I am almost relieved that only a real ballad ('Stronger', sung by Tony Harnell) is on the album. This is of course not bad.
What distinguishes this CD except the huge catchiness, the wonderful guitar solos by Magnus Karlsson on almost every song. So far I have felt this role on many boards as a necessary evil, but what Magnus Karlsson succeed in this respect, is really great. His vocal performance that one can admire in three songs, falls on negative, which is quite a compliment to be construed, as the list of prominent singers is very long. And although the music itself too varied is not (at least in comparison to 'Mystery of Time' by Avantasia), yet the constant change of lead singer prevents the possible emergence of boredom, this danger in the face of such high-quality song material for me anyway not really existed.
Finally, a detail that has me a bit amused: the song 'Last Tribe' singing just the singer (Richard Bengtsson) of former band of Magnus Karlsson, 'Last Tribe'.
Conclusion: Both for fans of melodic rock as well as followers of Melodic Metal this CD is highly recommended.
